Versatile Queensland family trio Stix & Stringz are gearing up to make their Agnes Blues, Roots & Rock Festival debut in February 2026, with the power of three and a special tight-knit energy that only a close kinship can bring to a live performance.
Stix & Stringz are a tight-knit family trio, formed in 2022 to spread the message of how people can turn heartbreak into happiness using the power of music to express their built-up emotions. Madeline, Marnie and Toby Beausang blend indie folk with a versatile mix of pop and rock, crafting and delivering a distinctive sound and sharing their unbreakable bond with appreciative audiences.
Stix & Stringz’s audio signature is best described as the dreamy folk textures of Angus and Julia Stone layered with the raw rock/pop energy of The Script. This unique trio share an undeniable connection in life and on stage, with two teenage siblings joining forces with their mum to bring a very special story to each and every performance.
Stix & Stringz have been steadily breaking into the festival scene by playing at the Gympie Music Muster and performing on stage in front of over 1,200 people at Camp For a Cure. They have also performed at other large events such as Campfest Family (over 300 people) and intimate venues such as Rat Planet Studios in Spring Hill, Brisbane.
As well as performing live, Stix & Stringz have released two of their original singles onto streaming services, attracting the attention of 91.9 Sea FM Sunshine Coast and Alive Magazine Fraser Coast.
Don’t miss the very special family vibes of Stix & Stringz in their debut on the #AgnesBluesFest Discovery Stage from 10.15 to 10.45am on Sunday 22 February 2026. Their unique bond and sound draws every audience in to warm hearts and souls with a touch of irresistible magic.
