The Agnes Blues, Roots & Rock Festival continues to ramp up their world-class live music vibes, confirming their next exciting artist for the popular Discovery Stage which will richly complement the main Marquee Stage from 19 – 21 February 2027 at the SES Grounds, Town of 1770.
Among almost 20 artists to share their connective, powerful music with Discovery Stage audiences in February 2027 will be Karl Priebe, a Brisbane-based singer-songwriter combining a unique blend of indie folk with Aus country.
Karl Priebe’s music is heartfelt, genuine folk storytelling; rooted in tradition as he weaves his First Nation’s heritage through his songs. With powerful live performances and beautiful stories shared through song, he connects authentically deeply with audiences, delivering an emotional, unforgettable experience that resonates long after the final note has been played.
2025/26 has seen Karl release his debut album to critical acclaim, complete a headline national tour and play several festivals to top off his biggest year to date. His music has been added to broad-reaching international streaming playlists, including Coffee & Chill on Spotify (605,000 + saves), with 15,000+ streams on some of his songs.
Karl has graced stages at the Woodford Folk Festival, Newport Folk Festival, Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival, Brisbane’s Tenerife Festival, The Triffid Garden, City Sound, Tamworth Country Music Festival and Goodwill Market’s Fright Night Festival. He has also been featured as a 4ZZZ – Brisbane Community Radio artist of the week among various online and radio interviews across Australia.
