Vibrant world music performer Hayden Hack is bringing his irresistible rhythms to the Agnes Blues, Roots & Rock Festival in February 2026, performing for the very first time on the Discovery Stage in a kaleidoscope of sound with an irresistible invitation to get up and dance and lose yourself in the beat.
Hayden Hack is an award-winning South African songwriter and musician, whose unique blend of guitar and vocals takes listeners on an unforgettable, unique journey through many colourful layers of sound. Stacking guitar riffs, stellar vocals, drum beats and many sounds in between, Hack transports audiences and pushes limits with his looped, African-inspired, trance-like inducing numbers.
Hack performed at this year’s Woodford Folk Festival and played a run of shows around Brisbane and Northern NSW before turning his touring attentions further north.
Hack recently released his third studio album titled ‘Better’ which was recorded at Yama Nui Studios on The Sunshine Coast, produced by the one and only Paulie B and mastered by Paul Blakely. This album feels like the culmination of all of Hayden’s musical learnings over the years, a place where he has finally found his ‘sound’. After his band Highlife dissolved in the way many bands do, it took some time for Hack to find his groove once more. He has certainly found it with the creation and release of ‘Better’.
Lose yourself in the rhythms and dance your funky socks off when Hayden Hack burns up the #AgnesBluesFest Discovery Stage from 7.15 to 8.00pm Friday 20 February 2026. His set is guaranteed to get you up out of your seat and grooving right up to the final drum beat.
