Soulful blues-lords BB Factory are set to groove the #AgnesBluesFest Marquee Stage in 2024 with their cracking live show and undeniable, fresh sound.
Emerging from vibrant jam sessions circa 2015, BB Factory swiftly ascended the blues/roots scene, enlivening audiences with their contemporary, yet authentic blues renditions. Their ensemble, composed of seasoned international musicians, exhibits a remarkable blend of original compositions and classic blues tunes.
BB Factory’s debut album, “First World Blues” (2018) set a robust foundation, with every single soaring to #1 on the iTunes Blues/Roots charts. Their tribute to blues legend BB King, “Let The Good Times Roll” (2020), further showcased their reverence for blues tradition, climbing to #14 on the International Blues Broadcasters Association (IBBA) charts, and earning them a finalist spot for “Group Of The Year” at the 2020 Chain Awards (Australian Blues Music Awards).
Their most recent release, “Live At The Wallaby Hotel” (2021) debuted at #2 on the Australian Blues & Roots Airplay Chart and encapsulates BB Factory’s energetic live performances, solidifying their stature in the blues community. As finalists in the prestigious Chain Awards, BB Factory’s blend of progressive blues with a traditional touch has not only captivated the hearts of blues purists but also enticed a broader audience.
