After a rocking debut Agnes Water-1770 performance in 2025, Darren Griffis and JUKEJOINT are back to burn up the main Marquee Stage at the Agnes Blues, Roots & Rock Festival next February with their powerful brand of bourbon soaked blues.
A seasoned musician with a career spanning over decades, Darren Griffis formed JUKEJOINT in 2021 to showcase his original songs. The band has since gained a reputation for delivering high-energy performances across Australia, from Brisbane to Betoota and beyond.
Darren’s music is described as “bourbon soaked blues” and draws inspiration from classic rock acts like ZZ Top, Black Crowes, and Rolling Stones.
Darren has expanded his musical horizons this year by embarking on solo acoustic performances around Australia and New Zealand, while continuing to play with JUKEJOINT. This move demonstrates Darren’s versatility as a performer and his commitment to connecting with audiences in different formats.
Darren Griffis and JUKEJOINT have been actively releasing new music and gaining recognition. In 2023, they released two singles, “Swivel Neck Boy” and “I Liked You Betta”, both of which received radio play across Australia and support from ABC Radio. Darren released “Diamonds & Rocks” in 2025, and has been in the studio recording a new release for 2026.
As Darren Griffis continues to evolve as an artist in 2026, he remains true to his authentic and passionate approach to music-making.
