An artist deeply rooted in regional Australia, Damien J. Johnson draws inspiration from childhood experiences in towns like Armidale, Bundaberg, and Toowoomba. With over 500 radio plays this year including ABC National, ABC Country, 4ZZZ, Oz Country and hundreds of other stations worldwide, this 2025 Country Stars Australia finalist has performed alongside James Blundell, Daryl Braithwaite and Dave McCormick. His regionally inspired song ‘One Hill Town’ reached the Australian Country Top 40 and blazed a trail to number one on the Euro Indie Network.
