The Agnes Blues, Roots & Rock Festival will be doubling the fun this summer, bringing back the fan favourite Discovery Stage alongside the main Marquee Stage from 19 – 21 February 2027 at the SES Grounds, Town of 1770.
Among almost 20 artists on the vibrant, up close and personal Discovery Stage will be The Charles Camilleri Connection, a powerful collaboration formed in 2023 between two standout performers: legendary vocalist and guitarist Barry Charles, and internationally seasoned guitarist and songwriter Paul Camilleri.
Barry and Paul both have strong blues and rock backgrounds. They are renowned for their exceptional song list of originals and selective covers, and perform at major music festivals and venues across Australia.
On stage together, The Charles Camilleri Connection embrace blistering guitar solos, exciting vocal dynamics and a natural spontaneity, adding in their own unique magic ingredients of soulfulness and humour to flavour the stories behind the songs in their irresistible performances.

Designed to complement the Marquee Stage program within the vibrant Festival precinct at the 1770 SES Grounds and about to celebrate its seventh year, the Discovery Stage encompasses the blues, roots and rock genres within a relaxed, intimate atmosphere; getting up close and personal and showcasing original music performed by an eclectic range of entertaining regional artists from Central Queensland and beyond.
