#AgnesBluesFest are delighted to be welcoming Boi&eSKae to the Discovery Stage for the first time in 2024!
Boi&eSKae first met in the house clubs of Sydney back in 1987. Their love of music, dance and performance connected them instantly, kicking off a partnership that has endured over 30 years. Boi Crompton’s talents on guitar and vocals along with eSKae van Eck’s backing vocals, percussion and miniature xylophone combine into a powerful harmony force to be reckoned with.
They have since travelled the world together, playing shows across Australia and abroad including at Big Day Out, Livid Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Arts Alive Maleny Music Festival, Fortitude Valley Fiesta and Mary River Festival, to name a few.
Boi&eSKae have both worked with some of the biggest artists in the world and have supported INXS, Yothu Yindi, Roachford, Hanson, Ben Lee, Christine Anu, Diesel, Rogue Traders, Mental As Anything and Renee Geyer. Their performances overflow with experience, tenderness and emotion.
Dark and moody, light and playful, Boi&eSKae express timeless emotions with a depth that shows several lives. Their lyrics find their own place in your head and heart and their melodies seduce, capture and enrapture. With two EP’s released, they continue to write and perform their catchy pop/indie/folk style.
